On August 30, Emmanuel Nassar opens Este Norte 2025, his new solo exhibition at Almeida & Dale.

With critical text by Victor Gorgulho, the exhibition features works created from the 1980s to new pieces, offering an stimulating overview of Nassar’s artistic production. It includes paintings, objects, and pieces from the Trapioca series, showcasing the visual vocabulary the artist has developed over four decades.

The exhibition highlights the artist’s unique position — almost paradoxical —that Nassar occupies in Brazilian art, articulating symbols from Northern Brazil’s popular and mass cultures with movements such as Pop Art and Concretism.
