On July 5, Almeida & Dale will open the exhibition Ponto de Mutação [The Turning Point], featuring six guest artists selected by Antonio Gonçalves Filho, the show curator.
With works by Anna Paes, Guilherme Gallé, Maria Luiza Toral, Marina Rodrigues, Rafael Kamada, and Thales Pomb, it brings together the distinct media and interests that respond to the current civilizational crisis. Aiming to “keep humanist culture alive in a scenario of dystopian transhumanism,” the exhibition draws inspiration from the work of Austrian physicist and environmentalist Fritjof Capra, known for a worldview that “brought together scientific thought, spirituality, and philosophy.”
