Almeida & Dale’s participation at ArtRio 2025, at booth A5, presents a dialogue between different generations and artistic contexts. The gallery brings together recent works by artists who are currently prominent in the contemporary circuit, alongside productions by acclaimed figures who have marked the history of modern and contemporary art on a global scale. The selection offers a non-linear path that enhances encounters between artistic productions across diverse temporalities, geographies, and perspectives. By suggesting such connections, the gallery’s presentation highlights both the vitality and experimental character of Brazilian artistic production and the lasting echoes of paradigm-shifting movements in the history of global art.
The selection encompasses multiple languages, media, and techniques, underscoring both the strength of contemporary experimentation and the vitality of historical references. Highlights include works by Alexander Calder, Alex Červený, Alice Shintani, Ana Elisa Egreja, Carlos Garaicoa, Dan Flavin, Eleonore Koch, Emmanuel Nassar, Guga Szabzon, Henrique Oliveira, Ione Saldanha, John Chamberlain, Marta Minujín, Maxwell Alexandre, Maya Weishof, Miguel Rio Branco, Olga de Amaral, Paulo Pasta, Stanley Whitney and Tunga.
