The Italian magazine ArtFrame published an interview with Alex Červený conducted by Matteo Bergamini. In it, the artist talks about his education, his professional journey, and how his work has evolved over time.

‘Years ago, I used to lavish time on paintings as if it were also a raw material: some took ten years to finish, as in the case of Sugar Daddy and Toy Boy—a key painting… Time has always been fundamental, especially since I learned everything on my own without taking painting classes; time helped me solve the technical problems that I slowly worked out…’ says the artist.
