For ARCOmadrid 2026, Almeida & Dale presents a selection that highlights the memory and archaeological potential of images in works by key figures of Brazilian modernisms and contemporary art.

Vestiges of past worlds materialize through evocation, the subconscious, traditional and personal narratives, or the symbolic charge of materials across practices of artists from different backgrounds, in Brazil and abroad, working in multiple mediums, from painting and sculpture to objects and conceptual propositions.
