Next Saturday, November 1, at 10:30 a.m., the book Fang will be launched as an offshoot of the 2024 solo exhibition Chen Kong Fang – The Refuge, dedicated to the artist and organized by Instituto Tomie Ohtake.
During the launch, Instituto Tomie Ohtake invites curators Paulo Miyada, Yudi Rafael, and Fernanda Pitta to a roundtable discussion moderated by Catalina Bergues, focusing on the artist’s work.
Curated by Paulo Miyada and Yudi Rafael, the 2024 exhibition presented a selection of one hundred works by the Chinese-born artist who settled in Brazil, including oil paintings and sumi-e pieces produced between the late 1940s and the early 2010s.
