Cut, Fold, Fit, an exhibition that puts the works of Amilcar de Castro and Kimi Nii in dialogue, was the subject of an article by journalist João Perassolo for Folha de S.Paulo.

The show brings together corten steel sculptures by Amilcar, while Kimi’s works in ceramics are presented. “If there is a difference between the artists, it is that Castro dealt more with voids and Nii with fittings. Operating with the cutting and folding of corten steel sheets, the Brazilian artist left voids in his sculptures, voids that form other figures, whether visible to the naked eye or with light incidence on the piece,” writes Perassolo.

Cut, Fold, Fit is on view until April 13th.
