Daiara Tukano has been announced as one of the recipients of the Rui Barbosa Medal in 2025, an honor awarded annually to individuals and institutions that stand out in strengthening Brazilian culture.

Among representatives from government, academia, the arts, and social movements, Daiara Tukano receives the title in recognition of her work, which combines artistic research and the promotion of indigenous cultures.

The award ceremony will take place on November 7, at 2 pm, at the headquarters of the Rui Barbosa Foundation, in Botafogo.
