Daiara Tukano participates in Dear Earth: Art and Hope in a Time of Crisis, at Hayward Gallery, in London, curated by Rachel Thomas.

In the exhibition, which reflects on climate change and artists’ actions to counteract it, Daiara presents two large paintings commissioned for the occasion. Among them, Ohpeko Pati – World of sacred waters of the great grandmother of the universe (2023), which presents one of the great grandmothers, women responsible for the creation of the universe and its beings in the Tukano worldview.
