Two works by José Damasceno are now part of Tate’s collection, London.
Écran/Crayon and Cartograma, both from 2007 have been integrated to the institution’s collection through the Cultural Gifts Scheme, donated by the Kirkland Collection. The Tate houses one of the most important collections of modern and contemporary art in the world and the acquisition contributes to the dissemination and recognition of Damasceno’s work on the international scene.
