This Saturday, September 13, Mariana Palma opens her new solo exhibition, Através (Through), at the Museu Oscar Niemeyer -MON in Curitiba. The exhibition follows Palma’s other participations in group shows at the institution over the past four years.

In the show, Palma presents a robust set of works created over two decades of activity. These works highlight the vitality with which the artist represents elements of classical still life, giving accentuated luminosity to floral motifs, drapery, and tiles that, even when superimposed, reveal shapes and volumes through transparency.   

The exhibition occupies Olho, Espaços Araucária, and Escadaria da Torre, prominent areas at MON, presenting previously unseen works created especially for the event, such as the installation Fluir, which uses fabrics, water, broken mirrors, and special lighting.    

Curated by Marc Pottier, the exhibition is on view through February 22.
