A visually striking installation occupies the space of the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center in Belo Horizonte, between December 7 and February 28, 2026. It is Festa no céu, an unprecedented work conceived by Daiara Tukano.
Composed of more than one hundred paper macaws, the work depicts a flock flying across the space and evokes the narrative of the birth of birds, preserved in the oral traditions of the Yepá-Mahsã peoples, the Tukanos.
Imbued with grace and color, the birds reprise the vibrant geometric patterns characteristic of Daiara Tukano’s painting, offering an expanded contemplative experience, guided by the floating and continuous movement of flight.
