This Saturday, August 16, Guga Szabzon opens her solo exhibition Triz at Biblioteca Mário de Andrade in São Paulo. 

In the exhibition, Szabzon presents for the first time a set of sculptures from her recent production. These works are the result of experiments with three-dimensionality, in which the artist shifts the line—a key element in her practice—from the two-dimensional support to space, expanding her research with the gestures of lines in seams to arrangements made of aluminum. 

Curated by Galciani Neves, the show elaborates connections about the presence of the word in Szabzon’s poetics in such a way that the works “blur the limits of speech,” as the curator points out.
