Henrique Oliveira (1973, Ourinhos, MG) inaugurated this month a permanent installation at Le Partage des Eaux, an artistic perennial course at the National Park of the Montes d’Ardèche, France.

Entitled “Ouroboros” (2023), Oliveira’s work is inspired by the image of a snake or dragon eating its own tail, present in several cultures and relates it to the passage of seasons and the ideas of unity and of nature’s cyclical time.

The artist, who has held solo exhibitions at Millan in 2012 and in 2016, is currently preparing a new show opening in August at the gallery.
