Mariana Palma (1979, São Paulo, Brazil) opens The Vanity of the Caged Bird, at the Vistamare gallery in Milan, Italy, as a result of a collaboration with Milovan Farronato.

The exhibition is part of the Focus on program, in which the Italian gallery invites artists to conceive site-specific works. Palma created an installation composed of voile fabrics printed with images reminiscent of the vanitas and paintings and cyanotypes.
