Palazzo Monti in Brescia, Italy, is presenting the exhibition Apéritif [apeʁitif], which brings together works made during the last cycle of residencies there. Curated by Edoardo Monti.

Maya Weishof presents a set of paintings in which characters appear in intimate moments, resting and dreaming. In these scenes, the interior spaces are diluted into landscapes, as if the dream world were poured over the rooms and then contained by ornamental forms, which, in turn, constitute another of the paintings’ layers.
