Mestre Didi: Spiritual Form, the first major U.S. exhibition in 25 years dedicated to the artist, opens on March 13 at El Museo Del Barrio in New York.

Gathering over 30 works by Mestre Didi, the show offers an in-depth perspective on his practice. Key works by Emanoel Araújo, Jorge dos Anjos, Ayrson Heráclito, and Rubem Valentim are also featured, establishing dialogues among artists investigating Black diasporic aesthetics, Modernisms, and spirituality.
