During Art Basel Miami Beach, Maxwell Alexandre debuts a solo project in the Kabinett at our booth (E6). Club: Looking Up From Inside brings together works from his latest series, shaped around the social choreography that defines the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo.
Across new portraits, landscapes, and panoramic paintings, Maxwell traces the visual and symbolic language of one of Rio de Janeiro’s most emblematic elite spaces. Developed since 2020, the series has come to the fore this year through the artist’s solo presentations at Delfina Foundation in London and at Pavilhão Maxwell Alexandre 5 in Rio de Janeiro.
