On October 17, from 5.30 pm to 9 pm, renowned sculptor Henrique Oliveira will participate in a conversation with Fatoş Üstek, curator of this year’s edition of Frieze Sculpture, accompanied by Burçak Bingöl and Lucia Pizzani.  

Held at the Warburg Institute, the meeting aims to explore how these artists conceive organic materialities, converting them into instruments of narratives, rituals, and political debates. Public art is also the focus of the debate, understanding its influence on spatial and ecological thinking.  

Henrique Oliveira participates in the exhibition with the work Desnatureza 8, composed of two structures resembling tree trunks that intertwine as they emerge from the ground. The work is part of recurring investigations in the artist’s research.
