Máquina de Ritmo: Som e Música na Arte Brasileira, organized by Fernando Ticoulat, Marina Dias Teixeira, and Yasmin Abdalla, is the latest publication from Act. exploring the relationships between visual arts and music throughout Brazilian art history.

Renato Menezes, curator at the Pinacoteca de São Paulo, contributes an original essay on Heitor dos Prazeres’s multifaceted career, titled Musician and Painter of the Things That Still Exist, while Marina Dias Teixeira writes a profile of Vivian Caccuri, whose practice centers on musical cultures and sound productions.
