Espelho (Mirror), the central piece of the exhibition Visita íntima (Intimate Visit), a solo show by Vanderlei Lopes (1973, Terra Boa, PR, Brazil) at Millan, is the subject of a report by Mônica Manir in UOL TAB.

The work features a large bronze relief weighing almost five tons, depicting a scene where bodies become indistinguishable amid a bacchanal.

In her article, Manir recounts the “saga” of the work’s arrival at Millan—it was completed at Fundiart in Piracicaba, 152km from the capital city of São Paulo.
