Heitor dos Prazeres, Rubem Valentim, Thiago Martins de Melo, Tunga, and Victor Arruda are part of the collective Gilberto Chateaubriand: a sensory collection, on display from August 9 at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro (MAM Rio).
The exhibition is part of the celebrations of the centenary of Gilberto Chateaubriand’s birth (1925–2022). A businessman and diplomat, Chateaubriand dedicated his life to building one of the most important private collections of Brazilian art. Through artists from different generations, languages, and territories, the collection offers a unique overview of artistic production in the country over the last century.
On view until January 25, 2026.
