On Thursday, October 30, at 7 pm, Vivian Caccuri will participate in a conversation with curator Ana Maria Maia at the Megafauna bookstore at Copan, São Paulo. The event marks the launch of the book Vivian Caccuri: Creature, Sound, and Its Spectra, the first publication dedicated entirely to her work.
The material traces fifteen years of research by the artist, marked by sound experiments that transcend the auditory realm and expand into the visual. The book includes an interview conducted by Italian curator Cecilia Alemani, artistic director of the 59th Venice Biennale, as well as critical texts by curator Bernardo José de Souza and art historian Olivier Berggruen.
Vivian Caccuri: Creature, Sound, and Its Spectra is produced by Act Arte with support from the Almeida & Dale and A Gentil Carioca.
