Organized by Yudi Rafael and Carlos Quijon, Jr., the catalogue Ecos e miragens [Echoes and Mirages] investigates affinities between contemporary artistic productions from South America and Southeast Asia, taking as its starting point the exhibition of the same name held at Almeida & Dale in late 2025. In addition to texts by the curators, the book features contributions by Arianna Mercado, Cris Ambrosio, Kathleen Ditzig, and Marco Baena. The project continues Perspectivas Transoceânicas [Transoceanic Perspectives], the gallery’s program dedicated to articulating ideas across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, coordinated by Rafael.
