This catalog was produced in the context of the exhibition Milton Dacosta: The Color of Silence, which brought together around 70 works by Dacosta produced between 1930 and 1980, respectively the beginning and end of the painter’s career. The catalog also reflects this trajectory, presenting a biographical text signed by curator Denise Mattar together with reproductions of paintings that reveal his alternating style, from figurative to abstract.
