This publication documents and unfolds the exhibition Terra e Temperatura, which took place between June and August 2021, at Almeida & Dale, in São Paulo. It was written, edited and designed between July 1 and 15, 2021, in a process prompted by the songs of Mestre Felipe (São Vicente Férrer, 1924 – São Luís, 2008) in the collection O calor do Tambor de Crioula do Maranhão dá o tom à Cultura Popular (2002). The catalog contains essays that expand on the social themes dealt with in the exhibition and critical comments on the artists’ work by curators Germano Dushá and Fabricia Ramos. Alberto Rheingantz and Beatriz Sallowicz also comment on the exhibition’s layout.
