At Frieze Masters 2025, Almeida & Dale presents a collection of works by Eleonore Koch at the booth S09 (Spotlight sector) in Regent’s Park, London.
Born in Berlin, Koch was a unique figure in the modernist movements of her time, dominated by concrete geometry and neoconcrete dissent. Skirting the overview that shaped Brazilian art trends during the period, the artist turned to London in search of the opportunities Brazil withheld. Abroad, she deepened her taste for figurative landscapes and still lifes, which tend toward introspective representation.
At the fair, the selection includes drawings and paintings on paper and canvas that capture the artist’s strong connection to the British capital, particularly her frequent explorations of Regent’s Park and the UK coastline.
The Spotlight section is dedicated to solo presentations by international artists of the 20th century. It focuses on contributions to global art from the 1950s to the 1970s, highlighting both artists underrecognized in art history and prominent figures in modernist narratives.
Visit the booth S09 between October 15th and 19th.
