Almeida & Dale Releases Mini-Documentary on the Lygia Pape: ação-dentro Exhibition

While the next exhibition at Almeida & Dale is being assembled, we invite you to watch the mini-documentary about the last show presented at the gallery: “Lygia Pape: ação-dentro.” The exhibition dealt with the sensitive and constructive art developed by Lygia Pape, an essential artist for Neo-Concretism.   

As well as documenting the exhibition, the video features interviews with curator Ana Avelar and assistant curator Laura Rago, who share their vision of Pape's work and the artist's creative process. OPENING SOON | The exhibition “Examining Myself and Others: Victor Arruda and Carroll Dunham” opens at Almeida & Dale this Saturday, July 13th at 11am. The show brings together the works of Brazilian Victor Arruda and North American Carroll Dunham, whose visual productions in painting and drawing investigate masculinity, sexuality, conflict and human consciousness.
