Casa Zalszupin Presents a Retrospective of Marina Lafer
07/05/2024
From July 9th, the Casa Zalszupin presents the exhibition “O fio é minha tinta. O tear, meu pincel” [Fibers are my paint. The loom, my brush], a comprehensive retrospective celebrating artist Marina Lafer's four decades of production. Curated by Bruno Schiavo, the wide-ranging selection “offers a journey that reveals an investigation into unheard of dimensions of delicacy and intimacy.”
The result of a collaboration between Almeida & Dale, ETEL Design and the Casa Zalszupin [Zalszupin House], the show offers a glimpse into the diversity of the Lafer's work and presents a range of techniques, such as watercolor, collage, tapestry, all the way to weaving, her main means of expression.
To visit Casa Zalszupin – itself an icon of Brazilian modernist architecture – and see the exhibition, it is necessary to schedule your visit. Click here to book.
