Intimacy of Forms: Nipo-Brazilian Art in Dialogue at Casa Zalszupin

On August 27th, Casa Zalszupin will unveil its its latest exhibition, "Intimacy of Forms," proposing a perspective on the nipo-diasporic artistic production in São Paulo, bringing together a selection of drawings, paintings, sculptures, and furniture pieces.
Curated by Yudi Rafael, the exhibition continues Casa Zalszupin's exhibition program, expanding its investigations into Brazilian modernisms and their cultural constellations with roots beyond Europe.
The exhibition brings together works by Japanese-Brazilian artists in dialogue with the spaces and the emotional memory of the house, including works by Tikashi Fukushima, Tomie Ohtake, Kimi Nii, Massao Okinaka, Mika Takahashi, and new furniture pieces by designer Claudia Moreira Salles.
