Tarsila do Amaral’s first retrospective in Paris on view at the Musée du Luxembourg

Tarsila do Amaral’s first retrospective in Paris, Tarsila Amaral: peindre le Brésil moderne, is on view at the Musée du Luxembourg. The exhibition features more than 150 works, including paintings and drawings, exploring the artist’s political engagement, her oneiric compositions, and her cosmopolitan, modern vision of São Paulo. 

Almeida & Dale will showcase Tarsila’s graphite on paper at Art Basel Miami Beach 2024 (booth F3). These works, created in the 1930s, reflect the artist’s years of study in Paris and her unique interpretation of Brazilian nature.
